The world should be grateful to the engineering profession. Although there are different fields of engineering, all engineers have a common goal. They work, design and build to contribute to improve living environment and quality of life for people.
Engineer William D. Lewis, FIDIC President says: “The largest contribution to the quality of life that we enjoy today is made by engineers.”
A valuable cultural activity is to Introduce the learned and hard-working directors and engineers who have sincerely served the people.
The achievements of four persons concerning the Tehran Metro construction and development have greatly contributed to the improvement of living conditions for the people.
Asghar Ebrahimi Asl, Mohsen Hashemi, Habil Darvishi and Ali Emam are known to many citizens in Iran. However, their struggles, expert services and accomplishments in construction and development of Tehran Metro as well as the sustainable development of Tehran are not known to the general public.
